Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this Scottish country hotel. The rooms were very well presented and very clean, making for a comfortable stay in the gorgeous, relatively modern bedrooms with an enormous bathroom looking out over the tranquil glen. However, the stay didn't feel like value for money, especially considering the rate for the superior room.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, though cozy with the coal fire heating, was overpriced for what it offered, making it more suitable for adventurers exploring the rainy Scottish outdoors. The service was decent, with staff carrying our bags and being welcoming. The location was ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby. The dining experience, with locally inspired dishes, was satisfying, but with room for improvement. The facilities were sufficient but nothing extraordinary.
My stay at this hotel was amazing! The rooms were a great size and very comfortable, plus being above the bar where there was a Scottish music evening added a special touch. The service was top-notch, with the staff always very chatty and welcoming. The location right beside the church with the 5000 year old Yew tree was breathtaking, situated in a very picturesque part of the highlands. The dining experience was equally delightful, and the facilities were excellent, making my stay truly enjoyable.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, with well-appointed and very comfortable rooms that had a traditional Scottish modern twist. It was a lovely touch to be able to have our dog stay in the room overnight, although the smell of the coal fire upon entering was a bit unexpected for a fine dining experience. The rooms were clean, cozy, and had excellent tea and coffee-making facilities.
The hotel was a fantastic choice for my stay. The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious, with a lovely view to wake up to, making me feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary half of whisky, a nice touch that added to the overall experience.
